I am incredibly bored.

This war is hardly even a war because certain people don't put up a proper fight. Obviously, they know they are on the wrong side. How unfortunate for them, for it is too late for traitors to turn back to me know.

Of course, there are still people on the fence to be won over. Ridiculous, really, that they should need anymore proof, but I'm willing to give them some.

It's amazing how easy it is to break someone. All of you Order fools have nothing but your sorry, pathetic attachments to one another. It always has been and always will be your greatest weakness. You're your own worst enemies.

Remus Lupin has been telling me the most interesting things. I'm sure you'll all be pleased to know that he at least tried to resist, but that didn't last very long. It was really rather disappointing. I expected more from a werewolf.

What's this I hear about a Hogsmeade weekend for the students? Sounds like fun. I may have to tag along.

Not likely, actually. While it would make for a nice bit of entertainment, I have more important things to be doing at the moment.

Though I'll admit that it is tempting to send some of the more ~~expendable~~ restless vampires or werewolves to let off a bit of steam. Ah well. There will be other times.

Potter, trying to keep quiet in hopes that I'll forget about you? It's a nice try, but you can't hide from me. I'll keep attacking those who align themselves with you until you come out of hiding and face me.

And it appears that Bella and Antonin have been successful. This is very good news. It's actually an idea I might just have to expand. To have an army that is completely loyal to me; that haven't been influenced by that old fool. I might have to work on this idea...

That's for the future, of course. At the moment, the main focus needs to be on new recruits here in the present. I know that Malfoy in particular has been working inside the Ministry to persuade purebloods there to our side. He tells me that since the attack he is having particular success. Hopefully this means there will be a group of new initiates soon.

Plans are going very well. It seems that the attack as done all it was intended to do.

Not only does the Daily Prophet report that the Headmaster has been spending time and energy at the Ministry, but my own inside sources report that they have seen glimpses of him as well. And with his attention now directed away from Hogwarts, I can now begin to implement my real plan.

Choosing who would be best suited for this task is not easy, however. Many of my best are already busy working on other projects for me, but I believe I may have to interrupt their progress a bit. This is very important, and I can't have half-arsed twits screwing it up.

Speaking of idiots - damn Augustine. How could she let herself get caught like that? At least the other twit had the sense to die. Despite the fact that she knows very little, I'm uncomfortable with the idea that any little bit of my plans might get out. Especially to Dumbledore, as there is no doubt that he will be very involved in whatever course of action they decide to take with her.

Hopefully she can give them nothing more than rumors and guesses.

I wouldn't suggest worrying too much about getting them back. Such Mudblood and Muggle-loving filth are learning where their true place in society is.

The entire lot at the Ministry - with the exception of a precious few - are a bunch of incompetent fools. Do they really think they stand a chance against me? I don't even consider them a threat.

Severus, I hear you had quite the little duel with Aldous a couple of days ago. Almost got yourself killed, from what he tells me. And of course, I know he's not lying.

You really should be more careful. Don't want to be the cause of any more deaths now, do you? It would certainly put a damper on your marriage if the Ministry found out and threw you into Azkaban.

Excellent. Everything is in place for this evening. The Ministry won't know what hit them, and it will hopefully create enough chaos and confusion that for the next several months all focus and energy will be placed on getting the Ministry back in order.

Dumbledore, of course, will probably be asked to play a major role, and with his attention being pulled in so many different directions no one will be the wiser to my ever nearing approach to Hogwarts.

And in addition to this, of course, is all of the information and research we can get our hands on in the Department of Mysteries. We can't have the Ministry discovering powerful new ways to block the Unforgivables or how to kill an immortal, can we?

Aldous has assured me that he will take care of such things. And that he may, perhaps, even find some research that we can use to our own advantage, as well.

The Ministry contributing to its own downfall. Such a thing would delight me to no end.

We've been too quiet, I think. While keeping the Order on the edge is always amusing (not to mention the fact that it wears them down and can make them complacent), if I don't move soon, they will move first.

And that is simply unacceptable.

Not that I have just been doing this for fun. I've been working on many long term plans. Getting inside that bloody castle, for one. I believe I have a way in, but it will require much groundwork and preparation beforehand. I will have to send my best Death Eaters to do the job; we can't have any idiots bungling this. If the Order is alerted to what we are doing, getting inside will become that much harder.

So, we need something to keep the Order distracted. Something to make them think we're trying to get at a person or place that we really don't care about at all. Or at least, not much.

Perhaps an attack on the Ministry? Yes, that would certainly do the trick. A large attack, so the Order thinks we're seriously going after the government first. And one that is timed and played out so that Lucius is there and working to 'defend' against the Death Eater attackers. That would certainly cement his credibility with that bumbling oaf of a Minister. Perhaps I'll even get lucky and the Minister will throw the traitor in Azkaban for trying to speak against such a stalwart and obviously loyal defender of the Ministry. ::smirk::

Yes, I think this will do. Something quick, though. I do not want to waste good Death Eaters on such an attack. We must make it believable, but not stay so ridiculously long that everyone is captured by the Aurors.

Perhaps I'll even make an appearance. It's been quite awhile since I've been out of this bloody mansion, after all. And that would certainly convince them of our 'serious' intent.

Yes. This is exactly what we need. And it must happen soon. Within two weeks - one, if possible. We'll have to do some quick, solid planning. But I've no doubt that this will work.

A most entertaining Christmas, indeed.

It's always nice to be able to put filthy mudbloods and impure wretches in their proper place. Such people have no business even thinking that they can be apart of the wizarding world. Magic is best left to those who know its history and can truly understand its great power.

And Squibs and Muggles - the worst filth of all - shouldn't be allowed to breed. Any product of such a disgusting relationship should not be allowed anywhere near the halls of Hogwarts...if it were to even have a spark of magic, it would be of a most worthless sort.

Which is why I am taking particular pleasure in my most recent...victims.

A Happy Christmas, for them, indeed. A pity the Muggle didn't last longer...I've found that torturing couples is the most entertaining.

Ah, well. There will be others.

And Nott is still doing quite well. There is still much work to be done, but he has been proving himself well, and has so far been living up to my expectations.

But the real test is not here. It will be when he returns to Hogwarts. The old fool and the traitor know of Nott's heritage and they will be wary, I know. I will need to make sure that he is prepared for whatever he may encounter.

Theodore Nott arrived this evening at my estates.

I'm very pleased with his confident demeanor. I'm sure he will have no trouble at all mastering Occulmency or Legilimency within the three weeks that we have. And, if we have the time, I believe I may even have one of the other Death Eaters instruct him in the use of the Unforgiveables. Particularly Imperio. If he can master that, then he will be of immense use to me.

And Bella and Antonin have presented me with a most interesting proposal... I shall have to get in contact with them soon.

Bloody damn Ministry. Trying to kill my werewolves.

At least they didn't succeed much, this time. They still have no idea where my attacks are going to be, and so long as I have informers inside the Ministry telling me where their forces are going to be, I can make sure to send my army well away from them.

I'm sick of fighting these stupid battles against the Muggles. They can be defeated easily enough. What is needed is a victory against all those bloody Muggle-loving wankers at Hogwarts.

But how to get in that bloody castle...

The fucking traitor told me that a weakness inside the castle would crack the castle's defences. But to train a spy would take time...and I'm not sure how to contact them without the old fool realizing. Both he and the traitor must know Legilimency, and there would be no time to train a student properly in the use of Occlumency without raising suspicions.

Which leaves the options of either finding a staff or faculty member to spy ~~and that worked so fucking wonderful last time, didn't it?~~, or finding another way in...

There must be a way to do it...I simply must think of it.

The werewolves' thirst has been quenched for another month, it seems. Most appear to be wallowing in content in their rooms, bellies full and physically satisfied. The hunger will grow again, of course. But there are plenty of more Muggle towns that will help get rid of that.

The Granger girl's parents are still missing. I would send Death Eaters out looking for them, but no one has any idea where they might be, so it seems a waste of resources to send any of them out to look. If they turn up again, we'll take care of them then.

Bloody fucking Severus Snape! He's fucking things up at the Ministry now. Fucking hell. I need Lucius to be able to concentrate on other things, damn it. I need to come up with a plan to get a hold of that bastard. Now. To have him loose and telling Dumbledore all he knows and causing all sorts of trouble is a liability that I cannot have. There must be someway to get him out of that fucking castle...or to get ourselves in...

Stay at the Ministry for now. So long as Fudge believes you then I don't believe that there should be too much cause for concern. However, it might be best to bring some of your more valuable Dark Arts things out to the Estate for safe keeping. And if things ever get bad enough that you are forced to leave, I will have the house elves here prepare rooms for you and your wife. The same goes for the others in the Ministry, if you would relay this message to them.

I believe I will have great need of your son in the coming months, if he is as willing and dedicated to the cause as you say. Is there, perhaps, a time in the near future when we may meet? I should like to speak with him myself.

I've spent most of my time the last several days going over plans for this weekend. Lovely timing, having the next full moon occur one week after Halloween. The werewolves are most anxious.

I have not yet decided on the specific place of attack. Right now the main concern is finding a way of getting the werewolves out before they are captured by whatever forces may resist. I really don't expect much in the way of resistance this first time, but it never hurts to be prepared.

Bloody fucking Dumbledore has recalled all of his Order to the castle. That fucking traitor must have told him. Damn it.

Must stop thinking of that. It only makes me lose focus, and I'll have my revenge eventually, anyway.

For now, my first concern is the werewolf attack. And after that, we will continue to attack as often as possible. Keep the Ministry and Dumbledore on their toes, if you will.

In fact...now that I think about it, perhaps an attack yet this week is in order. Waiting no longer serves my purpose now.
